We’re seeking someone who can manage tax return projects from start to finish, from preparing returns to communicating with clients and wrapping them up for review. You’ll also handle monthly accounting for a small group of business clients.
This is a remote position. US applicants only.

What You’ll Do
Prepare and manage tax returns (S corps, partnerships, and personal; no C corps)
Communicate with clients on open items and keep projects moving
Wrap up returns for review and ensure accuracy
Provide monthly accounting support for select business clients
What We’re Looking For
At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation/accounting
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Someone excited about client relationships and possibly building their own firm in the future
Work Schedule
January–May: 20–40 hours per week
June–December: 10–20 hours per week
Approx. 1,000 hours annually
This is a seasonal-to-part-time structure designed for flexibility and work-life balance.
Compensation & Benefits
$75,000 salary + $5,000 retention bonus (paid after 10 months)
Business development incentive: Keep 70% of billings for new clients you bring in and service
